$2.05 for a Thanksgiving Dinner!

Tomorrow, the Mission will be expecting to serve over 2,000 meals to the hurting and needy souls of the Capital Region. Since our bills don't come due until next month, it's not too late to contribute! Just $2.05 for a Thanksgiving meal could mean the world to a hungry person. We would also like your prayers for all staff and guests, that everything would go smoothly as so many come through our doors looking for hope. Thank you!

What do you think?

Would you rather ask 10 sponsors for $10 each and walk in the Freihofer's Community Walk, or just send a gift of $100 out of your own money? Why?

Participating in the Freihofer's Community Walk has raised money to help the homeless at Capital City Rescue Mission for the last eight years.

This year we would like to use the funds to help purchase a replacement for our 2002, 15 passenger van. the van is worn out from continual use - picking up food for the hungry, transporting people in need, and doing a variety of urgent tasks. A new (er) van will be a great blessing!

Local Farmers Helping Feed the Hungry

Thanks to some local farmers the Mission's "Meat for the Homeless" Project has been a success!

There have been a number of cows donated to the Mission which has resulted in thousands of destitute and downtrodden people being fed each month.

If you would like to donate livestock or know someone who would, please contact Perry Jones at 462-0459.
